Frequently Asked Questions

Installation

What tools are required to install a Wal-Ez unit?

Wal-Ez units install quickly and easily. The only tool that you’ll need is a drill.

Is hardware included?

The necessary hardware (screws) for installing our units are included with every sale.

About how long does installation take?

On average, Wal-Ez units take under 30 minutes to install.

What should the unit be attached to?

For maximum safety and to ensure that your Wal-Ez stays where you want it, the unit should be attached to wall studs or something of equivalent strength. Appropriately spaced holes have been added to the back plate of the units to conform with a variety of wall stud spacing. Securing a Wal-Ez to drywall without wall studs is not recommended as it is a safety concern.

How many people does it take to install a Wal-Ez?

While one person could install a unit, we recommend installing with two people. Once it’s properly attached to a wall, adjusting the shelves and/or table requires only one person.

Setup

How many people does it take to setup and collapse a Wal-Ez unit for work?

It takes just one person to setup, reconfigure and collapse our units. We’ve taken measures to ensure that Wal-Ez products are quick and easy to use.

Do I need tools to adjust the table and/or shelves?

No tools are needed to adjust the table/shelves. Everything is gravity fit and, once it is properly installed, you won’t need to use another tool on the Wal-Ez.

Safety

How much weight can a Wal-Ez unit hold?

When properly installed (with screws into wall studs) our shelves and table can each hold a maximum of 600lbs. Each individual shelf is rated to 300lbs.
